Pre-Holiday Skin Prep

14 days to takeoff

Holiday skin starts before the flight

No last-minute panic. No throwing five new products at your skin the night before you leave.

A simple two-week topical routine to help your skin feel smooth, moisturised and conditioned before you go.

The countdown

Two weeks, six moves

Good holiday skin is not built by battering yourself with products the night before departure. Give yourself time to patch test, prepare and find the formula that feels right.

14–10 days before

Choose your formula

Pick tingle or non-tingle. Choose tingle if you are experienced with warming products and actively want the sensation; choose non-tingle for a more comfortable application.

Patch test every new topical product at least 24 hours before full use.

9–7 days before

Keep prep simple

Gently exfoliate the areas you plan to apply product to. Focus on dry or rough patches, but do not over-exfoliate or scrub aggressively.

Apply the Pre-Tan Gel according to the directions on its label.

6–3 days before

Moisture matters

Dry, irritated skin rarely looks or feels its best.

Use the Tan Extender according to its label to help keep skin feeling moisturised, conditioned and smooth. Avoid introducing several new skincare products at once.

48 hours before

Don't wreck the prep now

Finish any shaving, waxing or stronger exfoliation in advance, and do not apply tingle products immediately afterwards.

Keep skin moisturised, give any temporary sensitivity time to settle, and pack your sunscreen before you forget it.

Travel day

Keep it boring

Wear comfortable clothing. Keep skincare products securely closed and protected from excessive heat.

Carry sunscreen where you can actually reach it, rather than at the bottom of the suitcase.

While you're away

Protect first, condition second

Use an appropriate broad-spectrum sunscreen and follow its application and reapplication instructions. Do not rely on a gel, cream or moisturiser for UV protection.

After showering or sun exposure, use your Bronze Body cream according to its label. Avoid excessive UV exposure.

Before you order

Tingle or non-tingle?

Same two products, same routine. The only difference is how the formula feels.

Comparison of the tingle and non-tingle topical formulas.
  Tingle Non-tingle
How it feels A strong warming and tingling sensation. A comfortable application with no intense warming.
Who it suits Experienced users who prefer the warming sensation. Anyone who would rather skip it, including first-time users.
What to expect May temporarily redden the skin. No warming effect by design.
Where not to apply Face, sensitive areas, broken skin, or freshly shaved or waxed skin. Eyes, broken or irritated skin. Non-tingle does not mean hypoallergenic, so patch testing still matters.
