The honest version of how Bronze Body started.
We're Poppy and Kieran. We live in Dubai. We built Bronze Body because the UK nasal tan category is full of faceless brands selling watered-down formulas with marketing copy that doesn't survive 5 minutes of scrutiny.
The honest origin: we tried everything in the UK market. Some of it was decent. Most of it was diluted, overpriced, or both. The good stuff was ten quid more than it should have been because the brand around it was photographed in a studio with a three-figure photographer.
So we made our own.
The product
The hero is Intensify No.3, Triple Strength Nasal Tanner. We make it in-house from a 1.5x Double Strength concentrate. It's the strongest legal nasal tan available in the UK. We've benchmarked against the others. We're not marketing-hyping that claim, it's the actual formula.
Most people see real colour between day 3 and day 7. About 1 in 5 don't get results that fast, for those people, we offer a refund or a Double Strength to compare. No fuss.
We're honest about side effects. Hot flush on day 1 is normal for around 1 in 5 customers. Lasts 5 to 15 minutes. It's a histamine response, not an allergic reaction. We tell you up front because the rest of the category doesn't, and that bothers us.
The brand
We don't do studio shoots. Every photo on this site is real, taken in real Dubai sun on real skin. If a photo could pass for a Vogue editorial, we threw it out.
We don't do influencer code armies. We do real customer photos and real Trustpilot reviews. We reply to bad reviews publicly with the offer of a fix.
We don't do em dashes. We don't do "your tanning journey". We don't do "indulge yourself". We write the way we actually talk.
"The whole point: you should know who's making the product you're putting up your nose. Bronze Body is two people, one PA, and a UK supplier. That's the brand. That's the supply chain. There's no third-party-marketing-agency middle layer."
Where we ship from
UK. Always. Our PA labels and ships every order from a UK location. Royal Mail Tracked. Next-day dispatch on orders before 2pm Mon-Fri.
We're based in Dubai because we live in Dubai (and the sun helps the photos). The product itself ships from the UK to UK customers, with all the responsiveness and consumer protection that brings.
Why we made it this way
Three things bother us about the rest of the UK nasal tan category:
1. Faceless brands. Most of the brands selling nasal tans don't have a single human face attached to them. You can't email the founder. You can't DM and get a real reply. That's not a brand, that's a dropshipping operation. We're real people. Reply to any of our emails and you'll get one of us back.
2. Studio-only content. Beauty editorial shots of bottles on satin sheets sell to people who have already decided to buy. They don't sell to first-time customers who want to see real results on real skin. We shoot in real Dubai sun because it's free for us and it's the truth.
3. Diluted formulas labelled as "premium". Charging £35 for a single-strength nasal tan because the bottle is gold-foiled is fine, but call it what it is. We make Triple Strength because if we're going to use a nasal tan ourselves, we want it to actually work.
What's next
2026 is the rebuild year. New site, new packaging, real reviews coming in, content shipping daily. By summer we should be the brand most UK women buy from when they're thinking about pre-holiday tan.
